The Mardi Himal trek is a hidden treasure in the Annapurna region. The trek is at far distance from crowds. This trekking appeals ones with beautiful sights of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and Manaslu range. Mardi Himal base camp, Jhinu hot Spring, and Ghandruk village are also the prime attraction of this trek.
The Mardi Himal trek undergoes Australian Camp (2060m), and Pothana (1950m), and Deurali (2100m) villages. The trail goes through jungles and forest camp (2600m). The trails to some locations are steep and to some are moderates. The route that we take in offers various landscape attributes and demographical significances. The picturesque surrounding appeals us during our whole trek.
Day 01 – Arrive in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
Day 02 – Drive to Pokhara (6-7hrs). Alt. 820m / 2,689ft.
Day 03 – Drive to Phedi (30mins) and trek to Pothana Alt. 1,890m / 6,199ft. (3 1/2 hrs)
Day 04 – Trek to Forest Camp Alt. 2,500m / 8,200ft. (4hrs)
Day 05 – Trek to Low Camp Alt. 3050m / 10,004ft. (2 1/2 hrs)
Day 06 – Trek to High Camp Alt. 3,900m / 12792ft. (2 1/2 hrs)
Day 07 – Trek up to 4,500m for breathtaking views & trek to Low Camp Alt. 3050m / 10,004ft. (5 1/2 hrs)
Day 08 – Trek to Lwang Alt. 1,280m / 4,198ft. (7hrs)
Day 09 – Trek to Anante Thati (2 1/2 hrs) & then drive back to Pokhara (1hr & 15mins)
