The excellent and tailored service from Tashi began before I even landed in Nepal. Initially joining the Yoga Trek to Manang it was not a problem for Tashi to organise for me to continue and complete the Annapurna circuit allowing me my greatest achievement, conquering Thorong La Pass. I received a lot of detailed advice and information when deciding what trip to do and a very personalised itinerary to suit what I would enjoy the most. Two friends and me did the Annapurna Circuit with Life Door Treks and we had an amazing and unforgettable time. During our trek we've learned a lot about people and country by our super cool guide Bhabi, who soon became a close friend. Same goes for our 2 porters Radna & Dipendra, who not just carried our heavy bags, but also were one of the most kind-hearted and caring persons and damn good in playing cards. All in all we spent some great days in the Himalayas together with a lot of Masala Tea and I really can't wait for my next trek with you guys:)

I did a 10 day Yoga Trek and my mind was absolutely blown. Firstly, it was very well organized. From the Guest houses, to the lunch along the way, everything was carefully planned along out route up and down the mountain by the company's head guy. The scenery was breath taking, better than anything a picture could really capture. Our porters were incredible, efficient, helpful and patient. I made a silly move and mildly twisted my leg at one point which put me at a much slowe...r pace during the descending part of the trip, but never did I not have someone by my side. Our guide was great too, pointing out all kinds of historical and cultural facts along the way. The Yoga instructor provided yoga twice a day in such a way that it was easy for people of any level to participate. All in all I have to say it was one of the greatest experiences I have had yet during my travels and plan on doing it again.

It was super helpful making sure we got the most from the time we had for trekking! We were encouraged to get off the beaten track and tackle the Manaslu Circuit. It was a fantastic adventure guided by Balku who had great English skills and even cooked for us on a day the local village cook was away. Learning some Nepali on the trail was fun and we had plenty of opportunities to practice. If you are planning to go to Nepal this year make sure you talk so Tashi about a trek!

I did 5 days trekking - Pokhara, Ghore Pani, Tatopani in Feb 2017. It was an individual tour and my guide Dhan did a great job. He kept up with my pace, was flexible to change route as per my fit and preferences, very helpful, protective. Team members were of kind heart, protective, very professional attitude towards the client, knowledgeable and experienced. Tashi, an owner of the company, kept in touch with me every day, to check if trek is going well. It was the first trek in my life so I was a bit nervous, but I think I couldn't have had a better choice for the first trek! Surely, if I will come to Nepal second time, I'll go directly to Tashi and Life Door expedition.
